About the Program

We offer two courses that teach beginning acting skills for young students, Theater Games for Kids and Beginning Acting.

Theater Games for Kids

This course is designed to nurture children’s creativity and imagination. Each class consists of playful physical warm-ups to loosen the body, and speech exercises to improve articulation. Students will participate in theater games that will teach them the basics of acting as well as expanding their imaginations, teaching them to think on their feet and improving their focus.

Beginning Acting

Students will participate in warm-ups and speech exercises, followed by improvisation and acting games. As the course progresses, scene work will be introduced and performed. The focus will be on developing speaking and acting skills.
