About the Program
We offer three options for 6 -8 week courses on Imaginative Play, Improvisation, & Intro to Musical Theater
Improvisation & Imaginative Play
Ages 5-13
Our curriculum will support your child in unleashing their creativity and confidence through imaginative play and improvisation. This course explores theater through movement and games, as well as introduces them to the experience of public performance. We will give your child practice developing their listening skills, teach the building blocks of storytelling and pre-writing in order to encourage authenticity and artistic expression. The goal is to make each child feel seen, and gain experience listening and taking ownership of their own creative voice while learning how to cooperate with others in a fun environment.
Intro to storytelling, Improvisation & Imaginative play
Ages 7-13
Our curriculum will introduce your child to the art of storytelling and improvisation. Each class will focus on the foundations of storytelling, character creation, and ensemble building. We will work on writing, and story structure as well as using movement and games to explore characters and write stories and monologues.
Intro to Musical Theater
Ages 5-13
Our course is designed to boost your child’s confidence, build resilience, and gain musical technique through an introduction to Musical Theater Performance.
Your child will learn about different genres of music, engage in group singing, and basic movement, as well as work on a solo performance of a song of their choosing & group performance of a musical theater number.
