Estelle was born and raised in Washington, DC. Named after her maternal grandmother who created and perfected skits with her granddaughter for many years, Estelle learned the value of repetition bringing layers of meaning and confidence to the character and performer. Estelle studied and performed ballet as well as modern dance and traveled internationally and throughout the US. After retiring from her professional dance career, Estelle studied extensively with many theatre professionals and has performed on television as well as film. Estelle is honoured to share Bernadette McAlister’s amazing story with as many people as possible.
